Europe Day 3 (London)
Aug. 28th, 2008 07:49 am Hi,
Yesterday was a full day that began very early (for me esp. because I only got to sleep sometime after 3:15am and we woke up at 7:00). I wasn't used to the time change yet. R and I began by attepmting to find where to pick up West End (Londond Broadway) tickets and the tickets for the Bus tour. We found awesome (but slightly expensive) tickets to WICKED (HAHAHHAHAHAHA this is so Funny mom! Did this before I knew you were reading it). We found the bus place after realizing we were in the wrong square and were just in time for the Walking Tour to the Changing of the Guard. Was Awesome! Took LOADS of pictures. After walking so much that I got a cramp in my calf (ugh) R needed new shoes. First we went for lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe (GOOD FOOD Finally! but to be expected). Also Luke: I tried a Gin and Tonic ..... and I liked it (we were all very very shocked). Then we took the hop on hop off bus tour to Oxford street (the ultimate shopping street) and looked for shoes for R. We found a Sketchers and BOTH found runners (I now own Sketchers shoes from 3 continents). We then got back on the Bus and rode the tour until it was time to go to WICKED.
Found WICKED no problem....
WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The 2 lead females could SING!!!! (duh but again SUPER AWESOME SINGING!) I'm so PUMPED! It was awesome.
Have a busy day today so I need to get going.
