Dear Yuletide Writer:

Firstly, YOU ARE AWESOME!

Thank you for offering to take this on!  I am super excited to have you with me in this endeavor and I cannot wait to see what you come up with.  Now a little bit about me to, hopefully, help you out.  I'm going to ramble here for a bit as that more information is probably better than none.

I suppose I should start with the fact that I'm a slash reader.  Do not worry if that is not your thing, I also really enjoy worldbuilding so that's also really good.  There are a couple of fandoms here that I do specifically want slash/femslash for but worldbuilding is always an acceptable substitute.  I also really enjoy threesomes and polyamoury so if the slash thing doesn't work but you want to throw a lady in there too - go for it.  I will eat it up with a spoon if you give me a crossover pairing.

Other general things to note about my reading habits are that I do not really enjoy fiction that is depressing - this can be anything from a story where a main character dies to a story that has an overarching feeling of hopelessness - I read fic to feel good.  Feel free to explore all sorts of themes and issues if you want I find those stories super interesting, but please keep the tone of the story mostly upbeat (not that bad things can't happen but... I like my happy endings :D)

Things I Love
One of my Bulletproof Will-Read-No-Matter-What Kink is Crossover fic.  Feel free to crossover any of the fandoms I requested with another fandom of your choice.  However, I just ask that the focus is still on the fandom I requested and that you provide a link to some sort of primer to the other fandom so I can read up on it!  I love people pushing norms (like genderswap, crossdressing, or an omega that acts like an alpha for example).  Also people being pushing their boundaries or being pushed. Creature!fic (werewolfs, mermaids, sirens, moon spirits, someone being a magical creature) is amazing.  I love kid!fic and people being awesome and soulbonding (and sentinel!aus) and people having to pretend to be in a relationship.  If we're talking porn: I love the use of sex toys.  Bondage, pegging, and crossdessing are great, as is BDSM; however, all these come with the caveat of no humiliation which is sometimes hard to find.  If you write me a fic with orgasm denial (with the same caveat) I will love you forever.  Though, if you write me an awesome G rated gen fic I'll probably also hold you forever fondly in my heart too, so there is that.

Things I Don't Like
Depressing fic.  But I've been over that.  One of the only hardcore squicks I have is generation gap/huge age differences in pairings (included under this umbrella are things like student/teacher relationships, and parent/child incest).  If you’re going to do porn; I’m also not a fan of humiliation, watersports, or non-con. Other than that, I can’t really think of any things (off the top of my head) that will make me avoid a fic out of hand.

One last thing to note I think before I talk about my fandoms specifically: my Pinboard account is HERE and on it are fic that I read and like.  You can see what I normally read and what I enjoy most.  Two tags of specific note are Extra:Favorite - those are my favourites - and Quality:Whale - these are the best written and also very enjoyable fics on there.

Now on to specifics :)  I'm just going to throw out a bunch of ideas.  Feel free to take what you want and discard what you don't like.

Fast and Furious Series
Starting out with one of the fandoms I want something pretty specific for.  I really see Dom as, well, a dom (in the BDSM sense).  Or if he isn't then he has the potential to be one (and a good one at that).  I'd really love a fic exploring that.  I went into the fifth and sixth movies waiting for the dominance-off between Dom and Luke and it... never really happened?  Luke tries but as my friend said during one of their face off scenes "a little sub-drop happens to everyone."  I'd love a fic that explores Luke and subspace (maybe him integrating into Dom's family). One last porny/cracky idea: everyone in Dom's family (minus his sister because opposite gender incest is not my thing) is actually his sub and watching Brian integrate into that (and become top dog of the harem) would be neat (or watching anyone else integrate too).  One note about this fandom: I'm not that into cars (I know right) so if you go in great detail about what they're driving or fixing etc. I'm going to be lost.

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Oh my childhood.  I love this game.  The one thing it totally glosses over is the fact that Link goes from 10 years old to 17 while he's asleep.  He goes through puberty while sleeping.  I'd love fic about this.  The fic can be anything from him constantly tripping over things because he's suddenly taller to getting hit on and not realizing it to porn (because sex drive now, also major virgin kink if that's the way you want to go with things).  I would really really love a fic where Link has body disphoria (doesn't feel like his body is his) and feels super uncomfortable in his body but powers through to save the world.  I just really want fic about Link being suddenly stuck in an adult body.

Queen's Blade
Okay, confession time.  As of writing this I have seen only partway through the second season of the Original Queen's Blade anime.  I'm going to go back and watch more so I might come back and edit this after.  Please don't let this stop you from writing post season 2 fic, just put a warning about it at the top and I'll make sure to have watched that far before I begin reading.  I don't know anything about the non-original Queen's Blade series so please stick to that.  ugh okay, now onto the fun bit.  This is a fandom where I'm not sure what I even want.  I want ladies being awesome mostly.  Also ladies getting it on.  That's pretty much it.  Sorry about the lack of guidance.  I'd love for the ladies not only to be strong in the beating people up sense but also just be strong people or characters.

Saint's Row
This Game!!!! This is not the kind of game I am normally into.  Not at all.  But then I tried Saint's Row 4 at a friend's house and promptly borrowed 2-4 and beat them all in the space of 2 weeks.  I'd love for a fic set mid-game 4 or post-game 4.  Now, I played through with my boss a blonde barbie-esque woman whose gang (family) was the highest priority with revenge as a close second.  She had the first lady voice option.  I completely understand if that is not your head-canon version of the Boss; however, I ask that if it isn't please don't write about her/him.  I'd also love fic about Kinzie and her awesome hacking or Matt and his hilarious fanboy ways.  Though, if you write a fic with Jane Austin in it/writing it, I think I would die. (from happiness and joy)

Slayers
Ah, the fandom of my youth.  This (along with Sailor Moon) was my first fandom and Zelgadis was my first love.  I'm not even sure what I really want out of this except more Slayers fic.  I will note that I haven't seen Revolution.  Maybe I want something about Zel's relationship with his body?  Learning to love it?  I'm a giant fan of him and Xellos but I also like him and Amelia providing that she's written well and has grown up a bit.  Shennanigans?  I have no idea.  Sorry for the lack of help.  Note that this is a fandom where an AU is 100% A-Okay with me (though not neccessary of course).

Twisted Princess
You know how in my long-winded intro I said I don't like depressing stuff.  Well, that doesn't mean I don't like dark stuff - particularly for this fandom.  Especially if it is positive for the Princess - if not for anyone else :)  I've given you 4 Princesses to choose from (the max allowed).  I'd love to know their stories.  The closer you can get to Fairy Tale/Folklore type writing, the more over the moon I'll be (I'll be up there just getting your story to begin with).  I will leave it up to you to come up with the stories but I'm sure there are folk tales from all of these cultures about female spirits/killers/creatures that can also add inspiration if you need it.

Whatever you write, dear author, Thank you very much for it.  And please have fun, I've tried to give you something to go off of and yet leave it fairly open so you don’t feel as though you have nowhere to go.
