Warnings: This was written in 2000 and some of the attitudes towards the following can feel outdated.  Warnings for some homophobic, misogynistic, ableist, and transphobic language along with scenes of attempted rape and physical violence, discussions of physical abuse, suicide and suicidal thoughts, depression, diets (including possible anorexia), pedophilia, and drug usage and overdoes, implications of sexual abuse, implications of alcohol abuse, and implications of spousal murder, jokes about suicide and school shootings, and a graphic description of a home birth. Basically, the characters are teenagers in the year 2000 and some of them have terrible home situations. (Spoilery Warnings: my rambly warnings that I recorded after relevant chapters.)

awww thank you!! It took a long time (though way shorter than it should have due to me pulling a week or two of 8 hour recording days) so it's awesome that people are interested in listening to it.

(as for wiki-ing: this is a highschool AU - it's improved by knowing the anime but that is totally not necessary (there are a number of in-jokes and call backs to the anime and some of the plot points of the anime are echoed in a distorted way). I'd wiki the character and also maybe google image search them. Though the story does give descriptions (especially as that Zelgadis in particular looks quite different). If you are familiar with other anime that was popular in north america at that time (sailor moon, inu yasha, escaflone) you'll recognize a bunch of characters but don't worry if you're not - again it just adds flavour and background, the story does a pretty good job of characterizing everyone and building a world all on it's own.)
