You're not sure why, since he had access to the same schoolfeeding as everyone else, but maybe it was because he was alone too much for so long. Maybe it's hard to care, or know to care, when there's no one to fuss over you.

So many awesome comments from you in one day :) I love pale romance. I find I ship pale romance in a way that I don't ship anything else. Such as that I don't think I've ever really had an OTP (I've had pairings I prefer but if they are broken up I'm always just like, "huh, how is the author going to explain this?" But Karkat<>Gamzee is an OTP for me, a hardcore one, I give serious side-eye to any fic that has them both alive and knowing each other and NOT moirails. (you may notice that I have podficced a fic that breaks them up but I can forgive this because certain plot things couldn't happen .... note that I still kinda side-eye it) WOW, sorry did not mean to go on and on about that.

:D :D :D I'm so glad you like my Gamzee! I really love it but I do worry that it doesn't sound like a stoner? or druggy or something? I just like him all chill and laid back and ever so slightly slurry. Man is it hard to edit though! It all runs into itself. To really edit I have to go back way further than almost anyone else.
