Firstly, YOU ARE AWESOME!
You are the best! I'm sure I'll love anything you make. I have all the fandom specific stuff at the bottom so skip to that if you want. I am super excited to have you with me in this endeavor and I cannot wait to see what you come up with. Now a little bit about me to, hopefully, help you out. I'm going to ramble here for a bit as that more information is probably better than none.
(ps. the language in this is probably going to favour fic/podfic because I am cribbing heavily (see: copying with some adjustments) from my yuletide and ITPE letters. Sorry if you are a fanart/fanvid creator!! I will love those things just as much! I'm just probably not going to be able to catch all the language changes that need to happen in this letter.)
A general note about my reading/listening/looking/watching habits is that I don’t enjoy fiction that is depressing - this can be anything from a story where a main character dies to a story that has an overarching feeling of hopelessness - I read fic to feel good. Feel free to explore all sorts of themes and issues, but please keep the tone of the story mostly upbeat (not that bad things can't happen but... I like my happy endings :D)
Triggers/Squicks
I have no triggers, well unless you count horrible second hand embarrassment…
Squicks: The only thing bordering on a trigger I have is non-con hugs (and other non-sexual romantic gestures). I CANNOT STAND adultery/cheating/lying to a partner. It is the one thing that I absolutely will not read about, won't even click on in a *what is this horrible train wreck/this concept looks intriguing* sort of way. Otherwise, one of the only hardcore squicks I have is generation gap/huge age differences in pairings (included under this umbrella are things like student/teacher relationships, and parent/child incest). Stories where one character bullies another and it isn't addressed (or is treated like they are friends or a couple) are a definite squick. Fatshaming is also something to avoid. If you’re going to do porn; I’m not a fan of humiliation, watersports, or non-con. Other than that, I can’t really think of any things (off the top of my head) that will make me avoid a fic out of hand.
Things I'm not super into: There isn't much that will make me avoid a story out of hand (and I've listed those things above) but there are a couple of things that I'm not super fond of. I'm okay with angst as long as that isn't the point of the story. I can't do unhappy endings, sorry. Non-canonical major character death is generally a no-go for me (there are circumstances in which I can handle it but it is probably safer to avoid it). Domestic fic is just not my jam. Connected to that: Coffee-shop aus and really any mundane aus or rom-com fics are just not my thing. (Highschool aus are cool though).
Things I Love
As much as I love crossovers (and they are normally the top of this list), I get the rules of this challenge don't really allow that and that's cool. But if you have the perfect story that fits the rules of the challenge then go for it; just please include a link to a primer or good wiki article to the other fandom. and Hey! you might just get me into a new fandom. I love people pushing norms (like genderswap, crossdressing, or an omega that acts like an alpha for example). Also people pushing their boundaries or being pushed. Creature!fic (werewolves, mermaids, sirens, moon spirits, someone being a magical creature) is amazing. I love kid!fic, and people being awesome (secret badass fic is a perpetual fave), and soulbonding (and sentinel!aus), and people having to pretend to be in a relationship. Also Fix-it fic - I love fic where it fixes things that are sad in canon. I do also love dark!fic but this is trickier because I don't like depressive or overly angsty fic (a fic about ppl happily serial!killing is okay, a fic about how terrible someone's life is, is not.) While I'm not a fan of time travel in general, I do love me some fix!it fic so if someone's using time travel to fix things I am 100% there for that, in the front row, with popcorn. If we're talking porn: I love the use of sex toys. Bondage and crossdessing are great, as is BDSM; however, all these come with the caveat of no humiliation which is sometimes hard to find. If you create me a work with orgasm denial (with the same caveat) I will love you forever. Though, if you create me an awesome (and anything you do is going to be awesome!) G rated gen work I'll also hold you forever fondly in my heart too, so there is that.
Pairings
I don't focus on pairings so much as specific characters. Due to the nature of signing up, I was forced to choose pairings in most cases. I am totally down with the pairings I picked but mostly I just want fic about one specific character (and I multi-ship like WOAH so unless I say otherwise I am probably cool with poly) and am totally fine with that character NOT in a pairing at all.
One last thing to note I think before I talk about my fandoms specifically: my Pinboard account is HERE and on it are fic that I read and like. You can see what I normally read and what I enjoy most. Two tags of specific note are Extra:Favorite - those are my favourites - and Quality:Whale - these are the best written and also very enjoyable fics on there.
Now on to specifics :) I'm just going to throw out a bunch of ideas. Feel free to take what you want and discard what you don't like.
Ranma 1/2 [Fic]
[Ranma - (I picked a bunch of the Ranma pairings but I'm not super picky)]
Prompt/Do Wants: GENDER STUFF. Pretty much any fic where Ranma actually interrogates his gender feels. This can include him being super uncomfortable with having a female body (disphoria - just please make it hopeful!) or finding it incredibly freeing. Ranma can ID as Cis-male, Genderfluid, Trans-Female, or whatever else you want! I just really REALLY want a modern fic about gender stuff applied to Ranma. (This doesn't have to make it super introspective! It can be a lighthearted romp! I'm really free about pairings (as long as my DNW are kept in mind) and I LOVE poly. So Ranma solving his problems by being poly and a girl sometimes to boot would be great! Stuff about gender presentation (like clothing and hair and make up) would be super neat! If you want to get porny and kinky feel free! Let Ranma explore sex as both a man and a woman! With both men and women! I am DOWN!
YuYu Hakusho: Ghost Files [Fic, Vid, Podfic]
[Hiei/Kurama, Hiei/Kurama/Yuusuke]
Let's be honest. I want pretty much anything when it comes to YYH. Hiei is my favourite character and anything with him and Kurama being demony is delightful! (Please note that Hiei/Kurama is one of the few OTPs I have and while I 100% do not mind ADDING to their pairing, breaking them up is not something I want to see) (I am a giant fan of Yuusuke/Keiko but I'm also a fan of Poly so as long as you don't bash her or kill (fridge) her or somehow malign her character or that ship I'll be fine with Yuusuke joining in the fun!) For actual prompts... I don't actually know? But applying more modern tropes to this fandom is always fun! A/B/O, Accidental Baby Acquisition, Surprise!Soulbonding, etc. are fun great fun! For the porny side: Kurama has vines. I am a huge fan of tentacle porn. Hiei is a stressed out mess who needs to be forced to relax. uh yeah.
PS. If you are offering a fanvid: I have this super terrible idea for a Hiei/Kurama vid that is set to Katy Perry's "Legendary Lovers". It would be the cheesiest, most OTT thing. I would love every minute of it (I do not vid which is the only reason it doesn't exist already). That is really my only idea. I'm not much of a vid watcher but ANY vid you make with YYH is going to blow my mind and make me flail in delight!
Star Ocean: The Second Story | Second Evolution [Art, Fic]
[Ashton Anchors & Gyoro & Ururun, Ashton Anchors & None]
Ashton being awkward!! (though I do have an embarrassment squick so make it funny/endearing/he is in on it). I want him to bond with his dragons!! Become friends and use their power! I love unreliable narrator fics where the reader can tell that the main character is actually badass but the main character is all "I am the worst [kills a high dragon, everyone gapes]" and I think Ashton would work amazingly in this role. Also Secret!Badass fics. Ashton bonding with his dragons so they become a found family would be amazing and sweet! For Porn: well you've got built in voyeurs and telepathy. Also possibly a chance for heat!fic and xeno depending on how much the dragons changed Ashton's biology. (I don't actually have pairing preferences for Ashton (other than the dragons) but I've read a bunch of fics with him and Dias that I liked so maybe that if you want)
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time [Fic, Art, Podfic]

The one thing the game totally glosses over is the fact that Link goes from 10 years old to 17 while he's asleep. He goes through puberty while sleeping. I'd love works about this. It can be anything from him constantly tripping over things because he's suddenly taller to getting hit on and not realizing it. I would really really love a work where Link has body disphoria (doesn't feel like his body is his) and feels super uncomfortable in his body but powers through to save the world. I just really want a work about Link being suddenly stuck in an adult body. Sheik being there to help him through the transition is great!
For porn ***PLEASE NOTE: if you are doing porn, I don't have an underage kink so please don't stress the fact that he is mentally 10. Focus more on the "wtf is this, I am new, this doesn't feel like my own body" aspect.*** Virgin kink is the big one here. But also, Sheik is actually Zelda (even if Link doesn't know this) and PEGGING. I LOVE PEGGING. But also Zelda could be using a spell to make her body male (or maybe she is genderfluid?) if you want! Also: who knows, maybe Hylians go into heat or are A/B/O (and Link had no clue b/c he was raised until 10 with the Kokiri and then BAM adult).
