- sent elves in first - charge through middle
- lots of elves die (both from enemies & from friendly fire) [apparently their archers weren't very good. this still annoys me]
- Sharah attempts to light another tent on fire --> she is doused in water b/c of this
- charge in after them --> save all but 1 (save seven) [actually this makes it sound better than it was. We talk and discuss things as a group a lot. This takes time, and sometimes DM gets annoyed with how long we take to decide things and makes stuff happen (like lots of dying elves) while we talk]
- elves go back & create a base camp to heal their wounded and get archers down --> we plow on ahead
- [I just realized that we rarely care about the people we leave behind. For example, we never again thought about the dragon slayers after we left their camp. Huh.]
